BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
We are expanding our team in the Sales Department to help take PREPAC to the next level. PREPAC brings fresh thinking to a whole new concept, designed to expand the potential of our clients. From meal trays, lidding film and state of the art sealing machines, to design, print & cold chain packaging. PREPAC offers new opportunities for clients tailored to their unique business models. Our packaging solutions have helped set the standard for the ready-made meal industry from its starting point in Australia. We are at the forefront of sustainable packaging development, and we are always looking to keep developing new solutions each and every day.

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base in the food packaging & tray sealing sector. Your focus will be on driving sales growth, increasing brand awareness, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure long-term business success.
- Developing & maintaining effective relationships with all relevant internal and external customers.
- Acting as a point of contact for customers during buying cycle and once onboarded as a client.
- Understanding client needs and visions to correctly quote and suggest the right solutions.
- Work with the technical team on machine based quoting to endure the client is getting what they have requested.
- Attend machine installations (where applicable for location).
- Providing resolution for problems as they might arise.
- Handle inbound enquires through multiple channels.
- Present reports on activity to the General Manager as requested for insights and strategic planning.
- Record daily / weekly KPI measures set by General Manager.
- Report on KPIs monthly with General Manager.
- Support purchasing with a forecast of sales to ensure we have the required products in our offerings for adequate stock levels.
- Arrange regular client visits to ensure we are seeing as many of our clients as we can to strengthen ongoing relationships and see where new opportunities are for increased or new sales.
- Generating new business using customer networks.
- Take the lead on organizing the resources necessary to put together high-quality sales presentations.
- Ensure the inventory of custom sales presentation materials such as brochures and presentation folders are always up to date.
- Maintaining communication links between the sales, marketing, purchasing and orders team.
- Coordinating service-related inbound/outbound matters with clients.
- Working closely with customer service, logistics and contractors on related projects.
- Provide support with organising and attending trade shows & presentations.
- Work the required team for sales
