Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, fostering strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities. Your role will involve developing and executing sales plans, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with our teams to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Sales Strategies - Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive growth across both Synergy Effect and Horizon Live Media.
Client Relationship Building - Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Research and Analysis - Identify trends and opportunities, informing strategic decisions that propel business growth.
Proposal Development and Negotiation - Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate contracts that meet client needs while aligning with company goals.
Team Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, and event production teams to ensure cohesive strategies and successful project delivery.
Performance Monitoring - Track sales performance, analyse results, and provide actionable insights to optimise future strategies.
Requirements
Proven Sales Experience - A minimum of five years' B2B sales experience within the events or marketing industry, with agency experience focussing on C-suite engagement.
Communication and Negotiation Skills - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Market Knowledge - Strong understanding of the events, marketing, media and communications industries will help identify market trends and the ability to leverage this knowledge for strategic growth.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in CRM software, Zoho, Mac and Microsoft Office Suite.
