This role is pivotal in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an office-based role (not hybrid) travel to meet potential clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Business Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all three business industries: the cleaning services, paper goods supply sectors and employment sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Research and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth areas.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our services and products.
- Address client inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Sales and Marketing:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
4. Reporting and Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales
activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business development activities.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and product improvements.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within the cleaning services, paper goods, or related industries.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Confidence in making outbound calls and initiating contact with potential clients.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings as required.
