The Client
My client is well-known and respected within their industry. They fabricate and supply a whole range of exciting window and hardware products used in commercial, and residential projects. The have a long trading history in Australia and has a National presence in all the main states. They pride themselves on the quality of their products, dynamic customer service, an awesome company culture and only employ the best in the industry.
The Role
Working with a small team in Melbourne you will report directly to the Sales Manager. You will have the responsibility to manage your own call cycles and client meetings from the clients office or when convenient remotely. The role will be fairly autonomous so you will need to be a self starter and manage your days effectively. The focus of your role will be to manage and develop an existing client base consisting of fabricators & builders, whilst growing and fostering new relationships within that sector.

You
To be successful in this role you must have had extensive experience as a business development manager seeking new opportunities within a commercial and residential market. A sales and account management background in the building materials industry is essential and selling high quality residential and commercial products would be highly desired. You must have a go-getter spirit, be driven to succeed, must be well organised, possess excellent relationship building skills and the ability to sell value based products. Full training and continuous support from your team will be provided.
