New Era is a boutique Disability Service Provider is seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to fill their In home and Community Access positions in their Cowra location (Extra work can also be offered in Bathurst Residential Group homes to candidates who are interested). Positions are casual. In this role you will be working independently, and within a team to support our customers in their home and out in the community.
We are currently recruiting for support workers with the ability to work in customers homes, with availability to fill shifts:
Monday to Sunday 8pm-10pm
Saturday and Sundays 10am-12pm
For the right candidates; potential to also join the weekday team who provide services 10am-2pm
Potential candidates must have the ability to provide Manual Handling and Personal Care (training provided) and an understanding of Aquired Brain Injuries is desirable

Applicants MUST be available for a range of shifts including weekend and weekday shifts.

Key Qualities and Skills required for these roles include;
- Permanent Resident or citizen of Australia
- Current First Aid Certificate and valid CPR
- Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willing to apply
- Covid-19 triple vaccinated with booster where applicable and influenza vaccine.
- Must have an Australian driver's license
- Experience working with people with a disability or lived experience.
- Confident in using the latest technology/Data collection and report writing
Desirable
- A minimum Cert III Disability or similar qualifications

- Reliable and punctual
- Good communicator (Written & Verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Outgoing personality with the ability to think outside the box
- Solid understanding of the importance of supporting participants towards their goals
- Flexibility to work with availability for weekdays, weekends and potential night shifts
Salary:
Attractive above award hourly rates and conditions in accordance with your skills and experience. Ability to work towards pay increases and bonuses. As a charity we also offer salary packaging benefits.
Employment type:
Casual, with the potntial to move to PPT. Paid sick leave, annual leave and superannuation in addition to attractive hourly rates and option to salary sacrifice.
