Introduction:

We are currently recruiting a permanent Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis for a leading commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.

What experience will you have:

• 3+ years in the accounts payable and receivable domain
• Experience in ERP
• Analytic approach, problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with large data sets on Excel
