What You’ll Do:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects based on customer requirements and specifications using our ERP software (M1)
• Analyse engineering drawings, and other technical documents to determine project scope and costs
• Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for estimating
• Evaluate material, labour, and overhead costs, and provide detailed quotations
• Quotation follow ups and customer liaison
• Monitor project budgets and track cost performance throughout production
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Assist with phone and email enquiries
• Review purchase orders and contracts
• Keep up with manufacturing trends and processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in estimating within the manufacturing industry (minimum 1-2 years)
• Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and cost factors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in estimation software
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• A background in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus
