The Charters Towers Region is geographically one of the largest Local Government Authorities in North Queensland, encompassing an area of 68,366.9km2. Charters Towers Regional Council's vision is Exceptional Service for an Exceptional Community and we employ over 280 staff to deliver local government services to the Communities of Charters Towers, Pentland, Homestead, Balfes Creek, Sellheim, Mingela, Ravenswood, Hervey Range, Greenvale and Belyando Crossing.
