From the second-largest city in NSW up to the QLD border, the coastal towns of the lower mid-north coast to the agricultural fields of the North West; we provide public health services to many richly diverse regional and rural communities. Our district is home to 1 tertiary referral hospital in Newcastle, 4 rural referral hospitals at Maitland, Manning, Tamworth and Armidale, as well as 20 district and community hospitals, 7 mental health inpatient facilities and 60+ community health services.
