Resthaven is a separately incorporated and financially independent, charitable, Public Benevolent Institution. The Australian Government regulates and monitors the aged care industry to ensure that appropriate standards are maintained. Resthaven receives subsidies from the Australian and State Governments, grants, client contributions and income from investments, which cover operational expenses and fund capital works. Considerable resources are required. Bequests, donations and fundraising activities assist in maintaining the level of care and services provided.
