About Diabetes SA

Diabetes SA has been delivering services to people with diabetes and their families since 1953. We are a member based Association, largely self funded through membership subscription, fundraising activities and our retail operation. We will make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by diabetes through the key focus areas of prevention, detection, management and cure we provide information, support, education, and products to all people living with diabetes in South Australia, with our primary focus being our members. Diabetes is the fastest growing condition in today's society. The need for support and services for people with diabetes in our community is crucial. Diabetes SA looks for people who want to make a positive difference to people's lives on a day-to-day basis. Our culture is centred on treating our members, their families and each other with respect, dignity, tolerance and understanding. Our recruits come from a variety of backgrounds from accounting, marketing and services industries. What our people bring to the Association is a wealth of knowledge and experience specifically tailored to assisting our members and their families.
