About the role

A FMCG Distributor is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in Darwin, NT. This is a part-time position that offers the flexibility to work on a schedule that suits your availability whilst contributing to our sales objectives. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to clients, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organisation. This role is essential to our business success and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your sales expertise within a supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and prospecting potential customers to expand our client base within the Darwin region

Presenting product and service offerings to clients, highlighting key benefits and value propositions

Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers

Responding to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner

Processing sales orders and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up

Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and performance objectives

Providing regular feedback to management on market conditions, customer needs and competitive activity

Supporting the wider sales team to ensure consistent delivery of customer service excellence

What we're looking for

Proven sales experience in a similar sales representative or consultative sales role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and present effective solutions

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or similar sales tools

Reliable and professional approach to work with a commitment to customer satisfaction

Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport

Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members
