We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to drive the City’s project delivery, engineering services and infrastructure programs, delivering outcomes that shape the future of our community. This role is fixed term for 5 years.

About the Role

• Lead the City’s project delivery function, including oversight of the Project Management Office and major infrastructure programs
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to governance, compliance and stakeholder expectations
• Provide strategic leadership across engineering services, asset management and infrastructure planning
• Drive continuous improvement in project management systems, governance frameworks and asset lifecycle outcomes
• Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team to deliver community infrastructure outcomes

Role Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading complex infrastructure or capital works programs in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise in project governance, procurement, contract administration and financial management
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, performance and competing priorities
• Sound knowledge of engineering governance and asset management principles, including lifecycle planning
• Relevant tertiary qualification and ability to meet compliance requirements (licence, police clearance, first aid)
