We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Trader / Trader to join our Steel Department. This role provides excellent exposure to international trading, account management, business development, and supply chain operations within the steel industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, supporting trading activities, coordinating logistics operations, and driving business growth across the Asia Pacific region.
Working Location: Raffles Place, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop existing customer accounts for steel-related products.
Identify and establish new business opportunities and customer relationships.
Execute sales and marketing initiatives to expand market presence.
Coordinate daily business activities with customers, overseas offices, and headquarters.
Handle order processing, shipment scheduling, and logistics arrangements.
Monitor customer credit limits and inventory positions to manage business risks.
Ensure smooth execution and coordination of logistics operations.
Follow up on accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely settlement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Host and support overseas visitors and customers when required.
Travel within the Asia Pacific region to meet customers and suppliers.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or higher qualification.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
Proactive, observant, and self-motivated.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Comfortable with regional travel for business purposes.
