We are currently seeking Boilermakers to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with FCAW and GMAW welding processes, with GTAW being desirable. Experience in fabricating and welding Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Quenched and Tempered materials, along with knowledge of acceptance criteria such as AS1554 SP, AS3992, ASME IX, and AWS D1.1, is essential.

At Bossong we Fabricate & Weld a large variety of steel structures including chutes, tanks, spools, structural steel, and variety of offshore components.

What makes Bossong different?

Highly competitive hourly rate of $44 to $48 per hour, plus penalties.

Dayshift role entails a 5-day work week, 38 to 45hrs weekly with optional Saturday shifts when available.

Essential requirements of the role

Trades Certificate – Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering Fabrication Trade).

Ability to pass 2G weld test.

Driver’s License.

Experience with heavy fabrication.

Ability to read & interpret technical drawings.

Ability to read & follow weld procedures.

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Strong commitment towards safety and quality

Be able to pass medical.
