About the role

Kilt Projects' is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Midvale, Western Australia. This full-time role will see you playing a vital part in the construction and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment and machinery.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate, construct and repair boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks and other metal structures

Performing general welding, cutting, forming and assembly of metal components using various welding techniques

Operating a range of hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment like hydraulic presses and bending machines

Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to identify and address any issues

Collaborating with the wider construction and engineering teams to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times

What we're looking for

Completed formal trade qualifications as a Boilermaker or equivalent

Demonstrated experience in a similar industrial or heavy manufacturing role, preferably within the Trades & Services sector

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans and specifications

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Current forklift and scaffolding licences would be highly regarded
