Who are we?

TC Engineering has operated since 1987 and since 2005, has contracted and co-located with a local business, providing slotted steel pipe services for mining, fabrication, piling and engineering industries across WA.

What's the role?

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated and reliable Metal Trade Worker with either qualified or unqualified metal trades experience. You'll need a good working knowledge of operating a Plasma Cutting Machine, grinding and simple welding. You'll need to operate an overhead hoist to load and unload pipes safely and efficiently. You'll need to be comfortable working on your own though there will be frequent interaction with external employees onsite. The role is full-time or part-time (job share) with core hours of 07:00 to 15:30 (this is flexible). Because it's an independent role, you'll also need to manage the workshop/site (e.g., maintaining a safe and tidy environment, basic maintenance, etc).

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents to be eligible for this position.

A minimum of 1-3 years of metal trades experience is required for this role.

What we'll offer you.

A full-time role (Mon-Fri) or part-time job share role (5 day fortnight) with opportunities for occasional overtime. We pay weekly and above Award rates. We'll provide full training onsite for our equipment and services as well as all required PPE. Parking is available onsite.
