THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced residential Project Manager (or seasoned Project Coordinator with a scheduling background looking to step up) to join our team in the Eastern Suburbs of Victoria, on a full-time, on-going basis. As Project Manager, your primary focus is to manage the schedule of custom/luxury home builds and multi unit developments, from pre site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage. Reporting to an experienced and supportive Management Team, some key accountabilities of this role include:
Assist in coordinating Pre site paperwork. (Permits, consultant reports, etc.)
Maintain and update construction programme/schedule.
Ensuring projects are built within set time frames.
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Assist in rectifying compliance based issues, both pre and on site.
Source and procure trades and suppliers.
WHO YOU ARE
Ideally, we're looking for someone who has:
Experience with Scheduling software. (MS Project, Smartsheet or Buildertrend are desirable.)
Ability to review all construction documentation and implement necessary amendments with consideration for all relevant Building Codes and Standards.
Recent experience, background and history in the Melbourne residential construction industry.
Strong technical understanding of the lifecycle of residential construction.
Experience with Luxury and Multi-Million dollar builds. (Advantageous but not required.)
Experience with pools, tennis courts and basements. (Advantageous but not required)
An understanding of Australian building regulations.
Solid project coordination skills.
Strong time management skills.
