About the role

ACE CIVIL SOLUTIONS' is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Mount Gambier, SA. This is a full-time position where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects and helping us deliver high-quality results for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites

Perform site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving tasks as per project requirements

Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the equipment you operate

Work closely with the site manager and other construction personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards

Maintain detailed records of work activities, machine usage, and safety checks

Identify and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry

Relevant certificates and licences, including a HR class driver's licence and excavator operation certification

Strong knowledge of construction equipment operation, including excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

A committed and safety-conscious approach to your work

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
