We are proud to be partnering with one of Australia’s leading software and cloud consultancies, who are expanding to deliver two major client projects – one in the energy sector and another in edtech. Both are large scale, cloud native builds designed to make a genuine impact and deliver lasting value.

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers who thrive in fast paced, modern engineering environments and enjoy taking ownership of their work. This is an opportunity to contribute to nationally visible programs while developing your technical leadership and influencing solution design.

About the Consultancy

This is not your standard consulting firm. They take full ownership of their projects and embed deeply with their clients, working end to end from architecture through to delivery. About the Projects

You will be working on major software initiatives designed around modern AWS architecture, where performance, scalability, and security are paramount.

The energy project is driving innovation in digital sustainability and customer experience, while the edtech project focuses on intelligent learning and engagement platforms that are transforming how education is delivered in Australia. Both are large, complex programs where you can directly influence design and technical direction.

What You’ll Be Working On

Deliver enterprise software projects using Python, TypeScript / JavaScript (Node.js + React)

Design and build within a serverless AWS environment using Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, CDK, and EventBridge

Apply CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

Collaborate in agile squads to deliver scalable, secure, and high performing solutions

Partner with technical leads and architects to uplift engineering practices and shape direction

About You

Strong commercial experience in Python and TypeScript/Node.js development

Proven success delivering within AWS environments

Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, and automation frameworks

Confident working in agile delivery teams and collaborating across business and technical groups

Based in Perth and available to be onsite 2–3 days per week
