Impact Care Solutions is a values-driven not-for-profit organisation providing Out-of-Home Care (OOHC), Disability Services, and Respite across NSW. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Officer to ensure our residential homes and facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting the dignity and wellbeing of the people we care for.

Your Role Will Include:

Completing routine and responsive repairs across Impact Care properties

Performing minor improvements and safety maintenance as per work orders

Ensuring all work meets NDIS Practice Standards and WHS safety requirements

Following safe work practices and securing tools, equipment, and chemicals appropriately

Reporting hazards, incidents, or concerns promptly

Respectfully engaging with staff, carers, children, and young people — listening to their views to maintain safe and welcoming homes

Upholding Child Safe Standards, confidentiality, and NDIS privacy obligations

What You’ll Need:

Essential:

Experience in general maintenance, property repairs, handyman, or trade work

Current driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites

Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Professional and respectful communication with staff and service users

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable:

Trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.)

Experience working in NDIS, OOHC, housing, or community services

Knowledge of WHS and child-safe practices
