Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Administration Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Payments, this role is essential for maintaining the daily accounts of our growing business. The successful candidate will manage our daily accounts and balancing process. We offer flexibility to work from home 2 days (for part timer) to 3 days (for full timer) a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Account Reconciliations
Balancing Daily Account Funds
Data Entry
Daily Reporting / Summary Files
Answer Client Account Enquiries
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in accounts or financial administration, preferably in a Payments / eCommerce / Online setting.
A minimum of 1-2 years of accounts or financial administration experience is required.
Skills:
Relevant qualification in Accounts and Administration is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Critical thinking skills, capable of interpreting data and identifying discrepancies
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Effective communication skills for interacting with our clients and internal staff
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
Working Days:
This position is offered on a 4 or 5-day per week basis, depending on the successful candidate's availability and experience.
In-office presence is required on Mondays and Wednesdays. The remaining weekdays offer flexibility and may be worked from home following the completion of initial job training
Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
