About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of SPITWATER machines and equipment. You’ll apply your mechanical and electrical know-how to ensure our customers’ equipment runs smoothly and efficiently — every time.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance (PM servicing), repairs, and diagnostics on SPITWATER equipment.
Accurately identify faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Communicate professionally with customers, providing clear updates on progress and costs.
Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and maintenance schedules.
Ensure service vehicles and work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-organised.
Follow all company and customer Work Health & Safety procedures, including completion of required documentation.
Assist with installations of new equipment and solutions when required.
Represent SPITWATER professionally, maintaining our reputation for reliability and service excellence.
About You
You’ll bring a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a proactive, customer-focused approach. You’re methodical, well-organised, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. mechanical fitter, electrician, or similar).
Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
A current Australian driver’s licence (essential for Field Technicians).
A forklift licence (preferred, not essential).
HubSpot CRM experience (advantageous but not required).
