About the role

We are a growing caretaking, garden maintenance and landscaping company based out of Banyo, and we're looking for dependable hardworking fulltime and casual team members to join us. Flexible rosters can work 4-day week (4 x 9.5 hours) or 5-day week (5 x 7.6 hours)

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

A valid car license (C class) is required for this position. Manual license an advantage

Ekko Asset management maintain and care for the grounds, gardens and common areas of multiple body corporate complexes. We also work with property developers on Landscaping and site maintenance.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Garden and Ground Maintenance professional to join our team in Brisbane and surrounding areas on a full-time basis as well as casual workers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the gardens, grounds, common areas and landscaping to our number of contracted complexes and estates, ensuring they are well-kept and presentable for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Performing regular mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas

Weeding, mulching, and planting to maintain the health and appearance of gardens

Pruning and shaping trees, shrubs, and other plants

Use of Zero turn mowers

Hedging, removing green waste and keeping areas clean and tidy.

Reporting any issues or concerns to the Ekko Asset management team

What we're looking for

Experience in garden and grounds maintenance is an advantage, but if you have the right attitude, we will provide all the training required.

Reliability, good work ethic and use to working outdoors in Queensland conditions.

Proficient in the use of various garden equipment and tools, such as mowers, hedgers; trimmers, Zero turns, trailer use

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail with the ability to manage time to tasks required.

Manual license and trailer towing experience is a bonus.

Reliable and punctual, with a can-do attitude.

Competitive salary $30-$40 /hour + super (based on experience and ability)
