The Opportunity

We are seeking a Qualified Carpenter to join our team, working across both project and maintenance works. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building repairs, fit-outs, and general carpentry, and take pride in delivering quality results. This role suits a self-motivated tradesperson who can work independently or as part of a team and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry, fit-out, and general building works for both project and maintenance jobs

Complete repairs and installations safely and to a high standard

Manage and update daily tasks using our digital job management system

Communicate professionally with clients, site representatives, and the Orixon team

Source and purchase materials as required while maintaining cost efficiency

Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

Standard Monday–Friday hours, with optional paid overtime and weekend work

Qualifications & Requirements

Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification)

Demonstrated experience in both project and maintenance carpentry

Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

Construction White Card

Current Manual ‘A’ Class Driver’s Licence

Working at Heights ticket (preferred)

Strong communication and time management skills

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
