Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers?
We're looking for an energetic and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our Beat Dance teaching team!

Both dance qualifications and teaching qualifications are required for this position and A valid Working with Children Check is required before starting in this position.

About the Role

As a Dance Instructor, you'll deliver high-quality, engaging dance classes using safe and inclusive teaching practices. You'll bring enthusiasm and a love of dance to every lesson while preparing students for performances, exams, and studio events.

Instructors must be proficient in some or most, teaching Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap dance styles.

You'll work closely with our Director, admin, and teaching team to uphold the values and mission of Beat Dance School — creating a positive, supportive environment for every student.

What You'll Do

Teach fun, structured, and level-appropriate dance classes

Prepare students for events, performances, and exams

Foster a love of dance while building skills and confidence

Follow all studio policies and child-safe standards

Collaborate with fellow teachers and admin to ensure smooth class delivery

Styles of dance preferred: Jazz Hip Hop Ballet

The successful candidate will teach preschool (3-5), primary (6-12), and teens (13-17) age groups.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years dance teaching experience.
