Job Details

* Location: Chatswood, Sydney

* Type: Casual or part-time (flexible & rewarding role in a well-established company)

* Students: Primarily Year 1 – Year 12

* Format: One-on-one

Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality weekly tutoring sessions in your subject area.

* Prepare lesson notes and assign weekly homework (materials may be provided by Sydney EDI).

* Teach subject content in a structured and comprehensive manner.

Subjects in Demand

* Grammar / Phonics (ESL teaching experience highly valued)

* HSC EALD English / Advanced English (high demand)

* Science (Y7-10)

* Math (Y5- HSC 12)

Note: In your application, please specify the subjects and student age groups you can teach. If you have current teaching experience or are tutoring students already, please outline these details. School teachers and training center tutors are highly welcome.

Requirements

* Strong subject knowledge in one or more of the areas listed.

* Education qualifications (e.g., Graduate Diploma in Education) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience preferred.

* Ability to teach core English skills: grammar, reading, writing, and rhetoric.

* Demonstrated strong academic results in your teaching area.

* Excellent communication and clarity of expression.

* Responsible, organized, and independent work ethic.

* Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

* Friendly personality with a strong sense of responsibility.

Pay

* Casual: $35 – $50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

* Part-time: Negotiable based on experience
