Role Overview:

We are looking for thoughtful and enthusiastic English tutors who enjoy working with younger high school students. The role involves supporting Year 7 to 10 students in building strong writing, comprehension and analytical skills in line with NESA outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

Teach structured small-group or one-on-one English lessons (Years 7–12)

Provide clear and practical feedback on student writing tasks

Use provided Exceed materials and adapt to suit student level

Monitor attendance and learning progress

Communicate with students in a warm and professional manner

Selection Criteria:

High academic results in English (Band 6 or equivalent); university students studying English, Law, Education or Humanities are encouraged to apply

Strong written communication and grammar skills

Experience with tutoring or working with young people preferred

Reliable, responsible, and genuinely interested in student progress

Able to work in-centre during after-school or weekend hours
