About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, cafe and functions.

The duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation & Cooking of meals
• Cold Larder Preparation and handling of food
• Compliance with food safety & HACCP
• Understanding of patient dietary requirements
• Ensuring a clean environment is maintained
• Wash & clean downs of equipment
• Responsible for completion of food and safety temperature log sheets
• Ordering of food & supplies for you section area
• Stock rotation and dating products

About You

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Certificate in Commercial Cooking
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef
• Work within a rotating roster -mornings /afternoons and weekends.
• Ability to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements.
• Must have a thorough understanding of allergy management practices
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse workplace.
• Previous healthcare setting experience will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $32.22 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
• According to the role, Ramsay will require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
