Shire Periodontics in Miranda is offering a casual position for an experienced Senior Dental Assistant in a very modern and bright clinic overlooking the Sutherland Shire. Dental experience is necessary for this role, and you will be trained to upskill your abilities in the role of a specialist chairside assistant. We are interested in applicants who are willing to dedicate the time to become a valued member of our very friendly team for the long-term.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of dental assisting experience.

The position involves chair-side assisting in areas, such as periodontal treatment/surgery as well as implant surgery. The role is interesting with varied clinical surgical procedures. Some reception experience would also be highly regarded.

The position is for 3 days per week initially, Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. A permanent part-time position will be considered. The starting hourly pay rate is $42p/h and will be determined based on experience and capabilities.

Previous experience in periodontics is preferred

Full understanding and implementation of infection control
