ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced PDHPE Teacher to teach at our Wahroonga campus and our northern beaches satellite classes on occasions, to commence Term 1, 2026, for a twelve-month contract working on a Thursday and Friday. The responsibility of the PDHPE teacher is to plan, evaluate and provide programs to improve the physical development, health, physical strength and fitness of students with disabilities. Develop and improve students gross motor and co-ordination skills, while building their positive self-image in a safe and secure environment.
The role develops appropriate PDHPE programs based on outcomes of the NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) PDHPE syllabuses for all timetabled classes at Wahroonga and at the Satellites. Develop and implement Leisure and Recreational programs across Years 4-12. Collaborate with classroom teachers and work with our dedicated Teacher's Aides to enable students to achieve the outcomes of the PDHPE syllabus as adapted in St Lucy’s curriculum.

The following experience, skills and attributes are desirable.:
Prior experience in Special Education in Primary or Secondary schools.
