The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a meticulous and highly organised Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is a crucial role where you'll be instrumental in managing building rules assessments, conducting essential site inspections, and maintaining accurate project documentation. Your Responsibilities

Lodge and manage applications through the Plan SA Portal.

Conduct thorough building rules assessments and issue project approvals.

Coordinate all necessary authority approvals and referrals.

Maintain precise project registrations, databases, and client records.

Prepare and issue professional reports, approvals, and expert advice.

Perform site inspections and undertake interstate travel as required.

Collaborate with consulting structural engineers on complex matters.

Keep your professional accreditation up-to-date.

Skills & Qualifications

You have previous experience as a building surveyor.

You are highly proficient in time management and organisation, comfortable handling multiple priorities.

You are an excellent communicator with strong report-writing skills.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.

A solid understanding of building control and development approval legislation is a significant advantage.
