I am working closely with a reputable national consultancy company. They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Adelaide team. Over the past 20 years, they have been a respected advisor to the property, construction and infrastructure sectors, known for our expertise, professionalism and innovative solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join their steadily growing Adelaide team.

About The Role

The role will have exposure to a great variety of projects from health to commercial, work space, education, sports & rec, industrial, retail, aged care and residential. The role will see you working in a client facing position alongside an established national team's support. Responsibilities include creation and delivery of:

• Initial budgets and benchmarking
• Elemental and trade-based cost plans
• Bills of quantities
• Pre-tender estimates
• Tender analysis
• Bank reports
• Tender methodology advice
• Value engineering to client briefs including challenging client views when appropriate
• Progress claim recommendations
• Bank draw-down reports
• Variation valuations

About The Candidate

The right candidate must have:

• At least 2 years' local experience in a similar consultancy firm in a client-facing role
• An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying
• Experience in using CostX and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
