We’re expanding our Ferntree Gully design team and are looking for a technically minded Design & Estimating Consultant to join our fast-paced, hi-growth team.

About the Role

This role blends design, estimating, and customer engagement.
You’ll interpret drawings, use basic CAD software (SketchUp or similar) to design deck framing layouts, prepare bills of materials and detailed quotes, and support customers with technical advice and project guidance.

You’ll also help manage the life cycle of customer projects to ensure projects move smoothly from concept to completion.
Full product training provided.

Key Activities You’ll Be Doing

- Designing deck frames using CAD software (SketchUp or similar)

- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and sketches

- Preparing material take-offs and generating accurate quotations

- Handling incoming sales and technical enquiries via phone and email

- Engaging with customers to discuss project details and design changes

- Entering data into our CRM (Hubspot) and invoicing system (Xero)

- Following up with customers and leads to help close projects

- Supporting builders, architects, and homeowners with design solutions

What we are looking for:

✅ Has CAD experience (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit (3D modelling) ect)
✅ Speaks and writes English fluently, (For discussing solutions with builders)
✅ Understands basic construction or building design
✅ Is confident speaking with builders, architects, and DIY customers
✅ Has strong computer literacy and can multitask effectively
✅ Someone wanting to be the best in their role and get rewarded for it.
✅ Someone local within ~30–40 mins of Ferntree Gully

> Ability to Multi-task (Working on many projects at one time)

💰 Starting Package: (OTE ~$105,000) $80,000–$90,000 base + super + monthly bonuses
