Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you'll provide expert clinical leadership and guidance in emergency care, driving excellence, collaboration, and innovation by:

  • Providing expert clinical guidance, assessment, and care planning for complex emergency presentations.
  • Leading quality improvement, research, and clinical redesign initiatives to enhance patient flow and outcomes.
  • Acting as a mentor, educator, and clinical resource for nursing and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Supporting clinical governance frameworks, policy development, and evidence-based best practice.
  • Contributing to education programs, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, and divisional leadership to deliver excellence in emergency care.

About you:

You are an experienced emergency nurse passionate about leadership, education, and innovation, thriving in a dynamic environment and providing expert guidance by:

  • Holding current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Demonstrating extensive emergency nursing experience, ideally 5+ years in advanced or leadership roles.
  • Possessing advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Showing proven leadership and communication skills to influence and support positive team culture.
  • Having a commitment to evidence-based practice, patient-centred care, and continuous learning.
  • (Highly desirable) Holding or working toward a postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or related specialty.
