About you:

Be a people person first and foremost - that is who safety is for!

Qualification or relevant experience in Work Health & Safety

Ability to complete high standard safety documents

Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Computer literacy

Drivers license

Working at Heights and Construction Induction tickets (or willing to obtain)

Comfortable working on roofs/at heights

Practical experience relevant to the construction industry, with the ability to find safe solutions, is desirable

Willing to complete upon commencement - a national police check and a pre-employment medical

Responsibilities include:

Facilitate compliance to HSE legislations, codes of practice, accreditations, and corporate policies and procedures

Provide practical safety guidance to site staff, project managers and sales teams through various formats

Develop and review safety documents

Conduct site HSE audits & observations

Conduct investigations on accidents, near-misses, and safety violations

Ensure that relevant actions resulting from audits, observations, inspections and investigations are completed

Support the continuous improvement of Health & Safety through safety initiatives to improve safety culture and business performance

Support return to work processes

Support the Operations team as required
