Fjord Ice Baths is seeking a Refrigeration Apprentice & an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our passionate team in creating the world's finest ice baths. Based in Burleigh Heads, we design and manufacture premium, durable, and beautifully crafted ice baths for residential and commercial use, inspired by Nordic winter bathing and cold exposure therapy.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive technician who thrives in a family-run, hands-on environment and is excited to contribute to a growing company that values quality, craftsmanship, and precision. This role will report directly to the Head of Production and includes full training and onboarding. Part-time and Full-time positions available. Flexible start dates ranging from November 2025 - January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Building & Manufacturing – Manufacture our range of premium cold therapy products end-to-end, including refrigeration systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.

Servicing & Troubleshooting – Diagnose, repair, and fine-tune refrigeration systems to maintain peak performance and long-term reliability.

Project Coordination – Oversee product builds, ensuring all tasks, components, and deadlines are well-coordinated and delivered to the highest standard.

Digital Workflows – Use our ecosystem of digital tools and software to manage processes, track builds, and monitor production efficiency.

Key Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of qualified experience in refrigeration.

Current Refrigeration & Air Conditioning license (ARCtick); restricted electrical license desirable.

Strong technical ability with proven experience diagnosing, repairing, and optimising refrigeration systems.

Ability to work independently while balancing hands-on tasks with project coordination and team collaboration.

Strong organisational skills to manage deadlines and multiple builds simultaneously.

Meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Comfortable learning and using digital manufacturing systems.

Current driver's license, with flexibility for local and occasional interstate travel.

Must have valid Australian work authorisation or eligibility to work in Australia.

Work Schedule & What We Offer

Part-time or full-time role based in Burleigh Heads (Monday–Friday, 8-hour days).

Primarily factory-based. Work in an air conditioned factory environment
