In this role, you will
Lead, coach and mentor a team of staff to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care.
Build and maintain safe, nurturing environments that promote wellbeing and belonging.
Manage performance, professional development and reflective practice within your team.
Oversee daily operations including staffing, safety, facilities and financial resources.
Partner with other agencies and professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated support.
To be successful
You are a confident and compassionate leader who thrives on supporting others to achieve their best. You bring strong people management skills and the ability to inspire, guide and develop teams in complex care environments.
You understand the needs of children and young people in care and use your practical problem-solving and risk management skills to ensure safety, stability and growth. With your sound knowledge of legislation, therapeutic practice and community partnerships, you create a workplace built on respect, accountability and purpose.

Special Conditions:
Essential:
Will be required to undertake and successfully complete the Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Intervention within twelve months of commencing employment.
A current HLTAID004 - Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education Care Setting Certificate.
Required to maintain a satisfactory psychological suitability assessment to work with children and young people during employment.
A current South Australian driver's licence (P2 or above) and be able and willing to drive in the course of the duties.
