Systemnet is seeking a talented Network Engineer with solid hands-on experience in Juniper networking and exposure to other major platforms such as Fortigate, Aruba, and Cisco.

You will work across a variety of environments, configuring switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure for multiple clients. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on engineering and solving complex networking problems.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Juniper switching and routing environments

Manage and support Fortigate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and security rules

Perform VLAN and port configurations, manage switch stacks, and maintain documentation

Diagnose and resolve Layer 2/3 issues, including routing problems and STP loops

Support wireless networks across Aruba and Cisco platforms

Assist with infrastructure projects and client escalations

Contribute to a high standard of network reliability and performance

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, routing protocols, STP, DNS, and DHCP

Hands-on experience with Juniper EX/SRX series equipment

Experience configuring and maintaining Fortigate or Watchguard firewalls

Familiarity with Aruba and Cisco switching and wireless solutions

Good grasp of network security principles and troubleshooting techniques

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience

3–5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support

Certifications such as JNCIA, Fortinet NSE4, or equivalent (preferred)

Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment

Exposure to hybrid or SD-WAN network architectures
