Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring others? Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking a Permanent Part-Time RN (Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) to join our dedicated clinical team.

In this role, you’ll work alongside a strong team of Clinical and Registered Nurses, providing clinical support and guidance to our Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being hands-on while also supporting and mentoring others in a well-established, beachside facility.

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Monday - Friday both weeks)

About the Role

As our Registered Nurse – Clinical Support, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Your responsibilities include:

Providing clinical support and oversight across the care team

Mentoring and guiding Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff

Collaborating closely with our Clinical Nurse and leadership team

Overseeing medication administration and wound care

Supporting continuous improvement and best practice in aged care

Promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture

About You

You’re a confident and compassionate nurse who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and supporting others. You’ll bring:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Proven experience in aged care or a large facility environment

Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

A commitment to person-centred care and quality outcomes

A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain (Aged Care Purpose only)
