About the role

We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse and a Registered Nurse to join our team at our Miranda Aged Care Facility on a casual basis.

This position will report to the Care Manager.

Your main duties will include:

Provision of direct nursing care to residents

For Enrolled Nurses, working alongside the Registered Nurses and care staff to provide clinical care at an endorsed enrolled nurse level to residents

Participate in ongoing assessments and reviews of residents and their care plans

Communicating with residents and their families (or representatives) in an open and supportive manner

The successful applicant MUST possess:

Completed qualifications in nursing as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse

Current AHPRA registration

At least 2 years experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care setting or at least 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care.

Wide availability to pick up shifts

Excellent communication skills

Patient and compassionate towards the elderly

Takes initiative for problem solving

A good eye for detail

A team player with a vibrant, welcoming, and pleasant manner
