The Opportunity

We’re seeking a skilled IT/OT Systems Engineer to support and enhance the technology infrastructure behind our automation and control systems. Working under the guidance of our Technology Manager, you’ll provide technical leadership across a mix of remote and on-site projects — supporting networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems that keep operations running smoothly.

This role combines hands-on technical work with system design, improvement initiatives, and training delivery — ideal for an engineer who enjoys both operational problem-solving and forward-looking innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain corporate and operational technology environments for EEHA and its clients.

Provide technical support across networks, virtual infrastructure, domains, servers, SAN and cybersecurity systems.

Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.

Develop and maintain IT/OT standards, procedures, and documentation.

Design and implement technical solutions aligned with Australian Standards and best practice.

Analyse data, downtime, and incident trends to drive system improvements.

Automate tasks and optimise systems using PowerShell scripting.

About You

You’re an experienced IT/OT professional who thrives in technically complex environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. You’re collaborative, detail-driven, and confident engaging with both engineers and operational teams.

You’ll bring:

A tertiary qualification in technology, engineering, or related discipline.

At least three years’ experience in a similar IT/OT or systems role.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Integrity, initiative, and a drive for technical excellence.

Experience within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry (highly regarded).
