About the role

IMMEDIATE START. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented Chef De Partie to join the dynamic team at Qwixi' in Ingleburn, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the running of a busy commercial kitchen within a manufacturing facility and a small team of chefs/cooks/kitchands.

What you'll be doing

Preparing fillings, ingredients and components for sandwiches, meals, salads, desserts.

Planning and executing the bulk cooking of soups, wet dishes and canapes.

Supervising and training junior kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to excellence

Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices

Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new products and improve existing ones

Ensuring efficient workflow and stock management within the hot kitchen section

Work seamlessly with the high care team to deliver top quality products to our customers in a cost efficient and timely manner

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or equivalent role in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Leadership skills to motivate and manage the hot kitchen team

Relevant culinary qualification or certificate

Current food safety certification
