The Grand Hotel Warrandyte (multiple award-winning venue) is seeking a full-time Hotel or part time Duty Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a hands-on role overseeing daily operations across our venue, including bar, bistro, functions, and our newly launched Italian kitchen and cocktail bar.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and brings energy, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support staff across all departments

Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service

Manage compliance, RSA, and cash handling

Coordinate functions and events

Resolve customer issues with confidence and care

Contribute to team culture and venue improvements

Assist with staff rostering to ensure coverage while fostering a healthy work-life balance for the team

About You:

Previous hospitality management experience (pub/hotel preferred)

Strong leadership and communication skills

RSA

Calm under pressure, with a proactive mindset

Available for a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends

Passionate about creating a positive team environment and maintaining staff wellbeing
