In this role, you will contribute to the regulation of Victoria's energy sector by supporting the assessment and management of licensing, market entry and exit and exemption activities. You will play an important role in reviewing applications, undertaking analysis and preparing complex briefing papers and recommendations for consideration by commissioners and other executives.
You will also engage with stakeholders across the energy market to manage enquiries, provide information, and support transparent and efficient regulatory processes.
Position details
The position is responsible for:
- assisting in the assessment of energy licence applications and exemption requests
- assisting in the preparation of briefings and recommendations for commissioners and other executives
- supporting communication and correspondence with prospective licensees and stakeholders
- contributing to the effective management of stakeholder relationships across the regulatory ecosystem
- providing technical and regulatory advice to team members and across the Energy division, as appropriate

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.

- making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customer protection and access disputes).
