The Opportunity
As the Sales Representative, you will be the local face of Magellan — meeting with consultants, contractors, EPCs, and customers, introducing them to our Australian-made solutions, and identifying opportunities for our Perth-based technical sales team to pursue.
You’ll be backed by our Perth-based technical sales and marketing teams, who will handle all quotations, proposals, and technical discussions.
Your purpose is to open doors, represent our capability, and grow business relationships in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with consultants, contractors, project managers, and customers to introduce Magellan’s products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across QLD.
Identify new project and service opportunities and pass qualified leads to the technical sales team.
Represent Magellan at trade shows, industry events, exhibitions, and briefings.
Provide regular visit logs, market insights, and activity reports.
Promote and uphold Magellan’s values — quality, reliability, safety, reputation, and Australian manufacturing leadership.
About You
You are a credible and well-connected professional in your industry — someone who understands how to build relationships and open doors. You may already have an existing network in sectors such as mining, utilities, defence, transport, oil & gas, or construction — or you may be an emerging professional who is proactive, confident, and ready to grow in this space.
We are open to both experienced industry professionals and motivated younger professionals who have the capability and drive to represent Magellan at a high standard.
You will bring:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, organised, and self-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and coordinate remotely with head office.
Basic understanding of power systems / electrical equipment (advantage but not essential).
Ability to use email, CRM, and LinkedIn.
Your own transport and ability to travel locally.
