This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialists (Remote) covering Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of either Walpole, Jerramungup, and/or Bremer Bay Health Centres, ensuring high-quality, comprehensive primary health, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
- Provide emergency care support during clinic hours and be available on-call after hours for designated days.
- Coordinate and implement childhood immunisation services, and health promotion programs tailored to the community needs.
- Act as the central point of contact for emergency transport services and facilitate medical evacuations as per guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical data in collaboration with the Health Information Manager.
- Develop strategic relationships with local health and community personnel to foster collaborative health services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and strategic planning for health service delivery.

About the REGION: The Eastern Lower Great Southern region includes Ravensthorpe, Bremer Bay, and Jerramungup, and is home to some of the most unique National Parks and Reserves in Australia.
