The location of this position is negotiable within the Wheatbelt region however regional travel including overnight stays will be required.
This is a permanent part time position for 30.40 hours per fortnight.
About the OPPORTUNITY
In conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Educator and the Wheatbelt Learning & Development Team plans, implements and evaluates learning and development programs for Wheatbelt staff, based on identified priorities. Provides expert knowledge and acts as a clinical education resource person for the Wheatbelt region. This role contributes to the delivery of safe patient centred care and the consumers’ experience ensuring services and practices align with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have…
- Demonstrated current advanced clinical skill and application of theoretical knowledge in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate clinical nursing education programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of continuous quality improvement and performance principles.
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in using computer information systems.
- In possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence and the ability to travel within the region as required including overnight stays
