Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of medical manufacturing technology, contributing to the production of high-quality orthotic devices.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment for the production of custom orthotics
Assemble fully finished devices including the gluing, grinding and polishing of Orthotic devices
Collaborate with the production team to optimise manufacturing processes and efficiency
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety and quality standards
Meet daily and monthly targets
Operating machinery in an EVA mill room
Lifting and moving heavy materials up to 25kg
About You
This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in the manufacturing and healthcare industry, particularly in the field of orthotics and 3D printing technology. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess:
Technical aptitude and a keen interest in 3D printing technology and manufacturing
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of CAD software and 3D printing processes is advantageous, but not required
Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is beneficial, but not essential; training will be provided
