About the Role

We currently have multiple opportunities available across our Seafood and Continental Deli sections. These roles are ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in a continental deli — including handling cured meats and confidently using slicers — as well as those with expertise in seafood presentation and preparation. In either area, you’ll be engaging with customers who appreciate fine food and expect knowledgeable, attentive service.

This opportunity may suit former chefs or kitchen professionals who are looking for a change of pace, and who enjoy bringing their culinary knowledge into a retail setting. What We’re Looking For

We are seeking experienced professionals who take pride in their product knowledge and customer service. Ideal candidates will bring:

Proven experience in a continental deli environment, including precision slicing of prosciutto, salami, and other cured meats.

Seafood experience, including preparation, display, and safe handling practices.

A strong understanding of Italian centric smallgoods.

Excellent customer service skills – warm, efficient, and professional.

Ability to work as part of a fast-paced, team-focused retail environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing display.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert product knowledge and guidance to customers across our deli and seafood counters.

Operate slicing equipment safely and precisely.

Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation.

Assist with stock rotation, merchandising, and restocking as required.

Work collaboratively with the team to create an exceptional in-store experience.
